Please join us for our upcoming 5-day, at-home, online, insight meditation retreat, which will take place from Sept 24th-28th, 2021. The theme of the retreat will be on the 4 Limitless Qualities of the Heart; Loving-Kindness, Compassion, Appreciative Joy and Equanimity and how these practices help us live inclining and cultivating the open mind and compassionate heart, something that is very much needed during these challenging times.
Each day there will be a lecture, some light guided instruction, a gentle mindful movement class, practice support meetings, and plenty of silent time to practice loving-kindness, self-compassion, and mindfulness meditation through seated, walking, mindful eating and contemplative writing exercises to explore each factor. To attend participants MUST REGISTER HERE. Once registered (on Zoom you will receive the link to attend the retreat via your email.
The retreat begins on Sept 24th. There will be a Zoom orientation offered, with instructions on using zoom for retreat, sitting periods, practice support periods etc. at 3pm and then the retreat officially begins at 5pm and ends on Sept 28th at 3pm. We will have information up on a webpage regarding retreat schedule and sign up form for practice support meetings. The link to the webpage will be sent out in an email by Wednesday, Sept. 22nd.
